30% of Ninth Graders Will Drop Out
Federal figures gathered under the No Child Left Behind law hide a severe dropout epidemic, researchers say.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the presidential debates focused - I mean really focused - on something important like the dismal state of education in the US, or healthcare, or jobs creation? Our poor country is in serious trouble, but our leaders and future leaders seem oblivious to its plight.
